Obituary for Amy Holt
Amy Davis Holt, 60, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born April 8, 1961 in Memphis, Tennessee to her parents Pat and Charlotte Davis. She spent 55 years of her life in Hernando, MS. She loved her time working for DeSoto County Schools and another 20 years with Fitzgerald Casino. After which, she and her husband, Bill, retired to Heber Springs, AR to enjoy the relaxing Iake life.
Amy is survived by her husband, Bill Holt of 31 years, 3 daughters, Melody (Greg) Usdan of Germantown, TN, Tabitha Scott of Senatobia, MS and Tara (Jonathan) Crouch of Little Rock, AR, 3 grandsons, Nathan Hall, Ari Usdan and Simon Usdan, her parents, Pat and Charlotte Davis, 3 siblings, Steve (Francine) Davis, Tami (Dennis) Mitchell, and Scott (Cheryl) Davis as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who love her and will miss her dearly.
Amy always had a smile on her face. She was loved by everyone she met. She enjoyed the warm outdoors, watching her hummingbirds, playing with the grand dogs and taking walks around the neighborhood. Most importantly, she enjoyed being with her grandkids as well as other family and friends.
Services will be at the Hernando Funeral Home on December 28, 2021 at 10:00 am. Visitation will be held before the service at 9:00 am.
