Arlene Lafitte McGowen Lemmon 77 of Hernando was called by her Lord to be with him on Christmas Eve to celebrate Jesus birthday the next day. If there was an angel on earth it was her. She never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Jack McGowen, an Iraq war veteran and by her stepson, David Lee Lemmon from Detroit, Michigan. Arline leaves behind a loving son, Robert Bruce McGowen and his wife Kelli; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters; three brothers and her soulmate and beloved husband of thirty-five years, Timothy Lee Lemmon of Hernando. Service will be 2 pm, Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Hernando Funeral Home, 2285 Hwy 51 South, Hernando, MS 38632 with the visitation beginning at 12 pm. Interment will follow at New Bethlehem Cemetery, 3850 Church Road.
