Obituary for Billy Eubanks
Billy Wayne Eubanks, a retired utility worker/lineman, was born 1/22/1958 and entered into rest on 1/05/2022.
Billy is survived by his daughter Aundrea DeLaRosa (Robert), his grandsons Robert DeLaRosa Jr (Jennifer), Rogelio DeLaRosa (Haley), Johnny Cornett (Hannah), Alex DeLaRosa and Christopher DeLaRosa, a granddaughter Lanny Cornett, 5 great grands Jacob, Paisley, Cooper, Johnny Jr and Carter, his sister Mary Mullins (Graddon) brother John Eubanks (Vicki) and his partner Linda Mize and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents John and Inge Eubanks, brother Ronnie Eubanks, daughter Selina Eubanks and son Billy Eubanks II, Granddaughter Channa Cornett and great-granddaughter Laura Beth DeLaRosa, and his sweetheart of 40 years Lucy Eubanks.
Billy was a mountain of a man with a gentle and kind spirit. He loved hard and was so generous with whatever he had. He had a deep love for his family. He was a hard worker and true example of what a great man is made of. He was a man of few words but had a powerful presence. He was a skilled woodworker and spent most days tinkering in his sheds and yard. He highly enjoyed fishing and hunting. There are no words adequate enough for Billy, he was that great.
The family will be receiving friends Saturday, January 15th from 10-12 pm, with service to follow at 12 pm all at Hernando Funeral Home.
