Obituary for Bobbi Lynn Johnston

Bobbi Lynn Johnston was born on October 31, 1978, to Tommy and Barbara Smitherman in Southaven, MS. She was the second of three children. She grew up in Tate County and attended East Tate Elementary and Independence High School. She also studied at Concorde.
A childhood friend, Clif Johnston, became the love of her life in 1996. They married on February 20, 1999. They took great pride in raising their children and just enjoying life. They loved to take the kids camping and coaching them on the ballfields. Clif and Bobbi enjoyed playing pool and going on cruises. They also enjoyed taking trips as a couple and as family.
Bobbi was making a career in the cargo/delivery industry by working for B&B Delivery through Fed Ex. Her passions were reading, drinking morning coffee, camping, and playing pool. She looked forward to going to Vegas each year.
Bobbi enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her grandkids. She loved to be called “Gigi”. She would spend hours outside, taking them camping, or buying them just about anything they wanted.
Bobbi was preceded in death by her dad, Tommy Smitherman. She is survived by her husband, Clifton Lamar Johnston “Clif”, of 23 years, her mama, Barbara Smitherman, her daughter Breanna Johnston and her three sons Michael Johnston (Becky), Clifton Johnston III “Tres”, and Coleton Johnston. She’s also survived by her four beautiful granddaughters, Sophia, Hazel, Kathryn, and Paislee Lynn. She was looking forward to meeting her newest granddaughter, Camilla Lynn, that is due October 3rd. She leaves behind her siblings Angie Birmingham (Gene), Dawn Rakestraw (Corey) and her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many friends.
