Carroll "C.F." Franklin Moore went peacefully to be with Jesus on January 2, 2022 at the age of 72 after a long battle with an illness. Carroll is mourned by his wife of 30 years, Patricia A. Moore of Olive Branch, MS. He is survived by his children Jeffrey S. Moore (Karl) of Abington, MA, Tonya M. Hawkins (Walter) of Arlington, TN, and Wendi L. Hackman (Dave) of Hernando, MS; and 2 grandchildren, Caroline Hawkins and Christian Hawkins. In addition, he has a sister, Judy D. Hellums, residing in Southaven, MS. He also leaves 2 aunts, a host of cousins and many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly. His parents, Harold F. Moore and Ila (Jane) Moore preceded him in death. Carroll was born in Statesville, NC in 1949. His family lived in SC and KY, then relocated to Memphis, TN while he was still in school. He graduated from Overton High School in Memphis in 1967. He worked many years for Orkin Pest Control ending his time there as Vice-President of Sales & Marketing of the Central Region, relocating all around the south during his career with Orkin (TN, MS, KY, GA, AR, AL, and FL). He and Patricia relocated to Mississippi in 2000; where he transitioned to a career in real estate as a managing broker with Crye-Leike Realtors. Carroll spent his last years working with Action Pest Control and doing marketing consultation work for other companies. He was an avid college football fan, in particular the football team for the University of Alabama. In his spare time, he turned to his love of guitars and playing music. He formed the "C.F. Moore & the 501 Band" and spent many years performing in central FL and northern MS. He was never happier than when strumming one of his many guitars.



Funeral Services will be held at Hernando Funeral Home, 2285 Hwy 51 S, Hernando, MS 38632, (662) 429-5260, Thursday, January 6th at 12:00pm. Visitation with the family will be prior starting at 11:00am.
