Chapley Loyd Jones, 23, of Hernando, MS, passed away Sunday, January 16th, 2022. He was known by many names including Dugley, Chap, Chapstick, and Bubba. He was also known for being an amazing son, brother, uncle, and friend. Chapley was born on July 3rd, 1998 in Southaven, MS. He graduated from Hernando High School in 2016. He was loved by so many and was known to be the life of the party. There was never a dull moment when Chapley was around. Chapley would give you his last dollar and the shirt off his back. He loved hunting, fishing, riding four-wheelers, and golfing. Chapley was currently employed by B&P Enterprises in Birmingham, Alabama. Chapley is survived by his parents Kimberly and Jason Jones, his sisters Breanna and Mahaylia Jones. His brother Curtis Bain (Katie, Justin, Westin), grandparents Sherry and Hubert Jones of Hernando, MS. Aunts and uncles Kristy and Josh Leblanc (Ava and Lexi) of Trussville, Alabama, Amy and Harold Franklin (Stephanie, Karen, Kelli) of Hernando, MS. Chapley is preceded in death by grandparents Sue and Dale Sr. Funderburk and Patricia Dunaway, and Uncle Dale Funderburk Jr.

The family will be receiving friends Friday, January 21st from 12-2 pm with a memorial service to follow at 2 pm all at Hernando Funeral Home.
