Chris Manues, a small business owner and life-long resident of Tunica, MS, died unexpectedly in his sleep on August 29th, 2022 at the age of 29. Chris is survived his mother, Tammy Nichols; sisters Melissa Dickson (Mike), Kimberly Cleveland (Thomas) ; brothers Allen Manues (Taylor), Joaquinn Saiz (Danyel); grandparents James and Joyce Smith. He was preceded in death by his father Wayne Manues. Chris was born in Clarksdale, MS on November 23rd, 1992 to Wayne and Tammy Manues. He graduated high school from Tunica Academy and later graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Business. Upon graduation he helped his father with his construction business and later took it over after his fathers’ untimely death. Chris was an outgoing member of the community, including Tunica, Tate, and DeSoto County, always giving to charity and helping the less fortunate. He was an avid outdoorsman and a very skilled contractor. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend.
The family will be receiving friends from 12-2 pm Friday, September 2nd with services beginning at 2 pm all at Hernando Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research in Chris Manues’s name.
