Connie Jean Riley came into this world as Connie Jean Gross on June 12, 1953 to her parents Louis
and Louella Gross. She left this world on February 5, 2022 leaving behind numerous family members and friends including her husband, Wayne Riley, her two sons Punkin (Edward) Riley, Bubba (Billy)
Riley, 1 grandson, Mason Riley, and siblings Butch, Bob, Brenda, Bill, Martha, Jim, Peggy, and
John, not to mention a multitude of nieces and nephews that she loved with her whole heart. Those of us who knew and loved her know that she answered to many different names: Nannie,
Wallflower, Sit-too, but she always answered. She never turned anyone away when they were in need.
Connie Jean was always willing to lend a hand for her family, friends, and even complete strangers.
There are no words to describe just how much she touched everyone's lives. She was definitely one of
a kind and will be truly missed. The earth has lost an angel, but Heaven has gained one of the best.
Until we meet again, know that we will think of her every day, and treasure all of the memories we have
of her with our family. Graveside Services will be held, Sunday, February 20th 2022, at 2pm at Cockrum United Methodist Cemetery.
