Faye Ferrell, 78, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, May 7, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born in Charleston, MS and grew up in Memphis, TN, where she met her husband of 59 years on July 31st - William T. Ferrell. She is preceded in death by her father William Buchanan Mullen, her mother, Fay Lindley and 3 brothers, William David (WD), Paul Alton, & Elvis Earl Mullen. She is survived by her husband William T. Ferrell; one sister Linda Gay Sutphin of Atoka; 2 sons of Hernando, Mark (Debbie) Ferrell and Billy (Wendy) Ferrell; 11 grandchildren, Elainna (Keith) Allen, Breanna (Jake) Loflin, Kristin (Dustin) Morris, Luke Ferrell, Cody Lopez, Ryan Lopez, Levi Parker all of Hernando, Jeffery Blackwood of Batesville; 6 great grand-children, Cooper & Stetson Allen, Oliver Loflin, Kendyln & Skylar Morris, all of Hernando, and Brayden Blackwood of Texas. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, fishing, her chickens, her adopted puppy Prissy, her getaway time playing slot machines.
The family will be receiving friends Friday, May 12th, from 9-10 am with services beginning at 10 am all at Hernando Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
