Obituary for Hiram Andrew Agner

Our deeply loved husband, father, and granddaddy, Hiram Andrew Agner, passed away peacefully at the age of 73 in his home in Hernando, MS, on March 24, 2023.
The third and youngest son of W.T. and Mavis Agner, Hiram was born in Memphis, TN, on April 13, 1949. He graduated from Horn Lake High School in 1969 and received his associate degree in civil engineering from Northwest Community College. He spent most of his professional life in the transportation industry.
He was an avid golfer, gardener, and lover of all things John Deere, but his favorite way to spend his time was supporting his grandchildren at their sporting events.
Hiram has crossed the veil into eternal Love, Joy, and Peace, preparing the way for his wife of 53 years, Becky, and their four boys: Tommy (Amy), Todd (Jill), Trey (Kristy), and Trent (Casey).
Granddaddy also temporarily leaves behind his adored grandchildren: Ally Reese, Lilly Kate, Rhealan, Jansen, Keegan, Kynadee, Kayla "KK", Ty, Kelsi, Cody, and great-grandchild, Noah.
Along with his Savior, Jesus Christ, Hiram was greeted in Heaven by his parents, W.T. and Mavis Agner; his two brothers, Tommy and Robert Agner; his in-laws, Louise
"Mama Lou" and Frank G. Thomas; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends who love him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Longview Point Baptist Church in Hernando, MS on Wednesday, March 29th at 1 pm with visitation preceding from 11-1 pm. Interment to follow at Hernando Memorial Park.
