Jackie McKnatt was born June 29th, 1955 and passed February 13th, 2022. He grew up in Center Hill, Olive Branch. He was baptized at age nine at Center Hill Baptist Church. Jackie had loads of family and friends and never met a stranger. He was a carpenter and horse rider.
Jackie is survived by his daughter Cassie Leigh McKnatt Massey (Allen) of Crenshaw, MS; his lifetime love who became his wife in the eyes of God Patty Newsom Pesce; two step grand daughters Brittany Dettor (Jonathan) of Batesville, MS and Jessica Wimberly (Ralph) of Vance, MS; six step great grand kids Hunter, Katelyn, Mason, Madelynn, Anna, and Sadie; sisters Debra Ann King of Central City, Kentucky Vickie Coopwood Beliles (Dalton) of Belton, Kentucky, and Felicia McKnatt-Withers of Memphis, Tennessee; brothers Billy Coopwood Jr of Olive Branch, Mississippi, and Tim McKnatt (Daphne) of Covington, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Maudie McKnatt; his brother Sammy "Too Smooth" McKnatt; and his maternal grandparents William Thomas Whitten and Hattie Sue Terrance Whitten.
The family will be holding a memorial service Saturday, March 19th at 11 am at 107 East Moon Ave in Crenshaw, MS 38621.
