Obituary for James A. Holland III
James (Jim) Arthur Holland III, of Sentobia, MS, passed away on 02/28/2021 surrounded by family. Jim was a decorated veteran who served as a military policeman in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was also an extremely gifted cabinet maker who retired after many years of a fruitful career.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, James A. and Betty Holland II, and 2 daughters, Melissa J. Holland, and Christie A. Leming.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Margaret E. Holland; 2 sons, Mickey D. Holland (Nashville, TN), and Marty D. Holland (Tennessee); 2 daughters, Pamela L. Leming (Southaven, MS) and Betty R. Leming (Lebanon, TN); a brother, David Holland; a sister, Delores M. Holland; 11 grandchildren, Ellie, Taylor, Jack, Joe, Katie, Jakob, Owen, Marty, Jr., Preston, Trevor and Olivia; and 4 great-grandchildren, Emma, Rosie, Hunter, and River.
No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned due to Covid. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled pending a burial at a veteran’s cemetery.
