Jean Yancey Hymer, 88, was born February 19th, 1935 and passed away peacefully at her home in Southaven, February 20th, 2023. She leaves behind her kind and devoted friend, who she lovingly referred to as her adopted son, Joseph Fanayam; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, February 28th, from 9-10 am with services beginning at 10 am all at Hernando Funeral Home. Graveside service to follow at Friendship Cemetery in Como, MS.
