Jessie D. Oliver, 73, a resident of Hernando MS, passed away in her home Friday, September 2nd, 2022. She graduated from Independence High School. She was a PBX Telephone operator and she also worked at Fitzgerald’s Casino. Jessie survived by her daughter, Patty Oliver of Hernando MS, her (2) sisters, Leila Juanita Yon of Wakefield MS and Wilma Hazel Yon of Southaven MS, her (3) grandchildren, Kelsey Cockrell (Shawn Cockrell) of Coldwater MS, Colyer Oliver of Hernando MS, and Bryson Oliver of Hernando MS. She was preceded in death by her parents Cora Lee Davis and William Oscar Davis, her (2) sisters, Jenny Elizabeth Yon and Mary Agnus Patrick, her brother William Lee Davis, her step sister, Mary Jo Williams, her (2) step brothers, Welton Davis and Nathan Davis, her husband, Horace Earl Oliver, and her daughter, Paula Sue Oliver. Visitation will take at Hernando Funeral Home on Friday September 9th 2022, from 12 to 1:30pm followed by a graveside service at Greenleaf Cemetery in Independence MS at 2pm.
