Joyce Marie Taylor Noe, 80, of Byhalia, MS passed from this world June 19, 2022 surrounded by her boys.
She was born May 6, 1942 in Memphis, TN. Throughout her life she was active in the ministry serving the Lord alongside her father and mother. Playing the piano and helping with the mission in Mexico. She loved the Lord and would shout it to the world.
Her greatest loves were the Lord, her boys, and all her grandchildren and great grandchildren who knew her as Big Momma. She served as a Desoto County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador. Big Momma was an amazing cook, famous for her potato salad and deviled eggs. She loved to go fishing and watch her great grandkids play ball. She loved spending time with her brothers and sister. Always ready for a family gathering or dinner on the grounds after church. She is preceded in death by her father John W. Taylor, mother Hazel Taylor, and brother John W. Taylor Jr. She is survived by her three son Bill Nails (Jessie), Ivan Nails (Chrissy), and Shane Nails; sister Joan Tomb (Gordon); brother James Taylor (Georgeann); eleven grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends Friday, June 24th, from 1-2 pm with services starting at 2 pm all at Hernando Funeral Home.
