Juanita Mangum was born on October 10th, 1926 in Desoto County, Mississippi to Clarence H. Reed and Betty Thompson (both deceased). She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Mt. Olive Cathedral C.M.E. Church in Desoto County, MS where she attended with her family. Juanita met Luther Mangum and they were married in August of 1942. In that union they created one son by the name of R.C. Mangum. Juanita was a professional home care giver for many years. She was a faithful member who serviced on the usher board of Mt. Olive Cathedral C.M.E. Church. After a short battle with illness, Juanita made her transition to be with the Lord on Sunday February 28th, 2021. She leaves to mourn her passing her only son R.C (Willie Mae) Mangum. Four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, sixteen great, great grandchildren and two great, great, great grandchildren. In addition, Juanita leaves a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Five sisters preceded Juanita in death.
