Obituary for Judy Marley

Judy Ann (Boucher) Marley, age 77, a resident of Hernando, MS., passed away on November 25, 2022.
Born in Detroit, Michigan on October 25, 1945, she moved to Memphis, Tennessee when she was just a year old. Judy attended Charjean Elementary and Charjean Middle school before attending and graduating from Messick High School class of 1963. Judy attended the then Memphis State University, where she became the first member of her family to graduate from college with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Studies. In 1966 then Ms. Boucher would marry Lawrence Marley Sr. Judy had a 40-year career as a social worker with the State of Tennessee when she retired, and moved to Hernando, Mississippi.
Judy is survived by her son, Lawrence Marley Jr. & (spouse) Jennifer Marley, her brother, Cecil Raymond (Ray) Boucher Jr., & (spouse) Teresa Boucher, her granddaughters, Caroline Marley and Jordan Marley, her nephew, Todd Boucher & (spouse) Kelly Boucher and their children, Aubrey, Colton, and Everly.
She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 40 years, Lawrence E Marley Sr., her parents, Cecil R Boucher Sr. & Bessie Dean, her sisters, Betty Boucher, and Wanda Morgan.
Visiting hours will take place at Hernando Funeral Home on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 6 PM to 8 PM. The service will take place at Hernando Funeral Home on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens.
