Obituary for Keith Andrew Thompson

Keith Andrew Thompson was born in 1962 to Andrea and James Thompson in Freehold, NJ. He was the oldest of four sons, Douglas, Chris, and dearly departed Ross Thompson. He was also loved by several nieces and a nephew, Ashley, Maria, Sophia, Jessica Rose, and Carl Ray, many cousins, aunts and uncles. He served in the United States Navy for 11 years on the USS Cavalla (SSN 684) and the USS Pargo (SSN 650). Keith and his wife Tammy of 28 years were blessed with four children, Haley Annette, Kayla Virginia, Katy Frances and Denver Lee. His passing is much too soon for us all.

He loved nature, animals, mountains, music and spending time with family and friends near and far. He would offer to help any way he could by filling in at work, lending an ear, sharing advice, giving a lift, taking a road trip, - whatever was needed. He was proud of his Italian/Irish heritage, and was a fan of the New York Jets football team. He always had a song to go with any word that popped up in conversation. He enjoyed various genres of music, and liked to "rock out" to Hard Rock, Metal, Classical, Easy listening, the Blues, and much more, anything with a good beat. He enjoyed stories of the comic heroes Captain America and the Hulk. We have a hulk figurine he would secretly place in different areas around the house to give us a giggle. He loved to spark fun in people. He worked for TVA for 20 years and enjoyed working with his crew at TVA Combined Cycle in Southaven, MS.

Very special thanks to his closest friends Jay and Amy Peyton and their family for your support and love. Keith had great love for you all.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 29th 2022 at Hernando Funeral Home 1pm until service time at 2pm.
