Larry Bruce Thompson was born September 16th, 1941 to Nadine and Bruce Thompson in Whittier, CA. He was a member of Redemption Church. He retired as shop manager at Kroger. He then worked part time for a leasing company. Larry was a big Ole Miss fan and was a football and baseball season ticket holder for over 40 years. He coached our younger daughter’s softball team and umpired for several years and loved it. He loved his family with all his heart. He could fix anything including broken hearts. He loved music, he played the guitar, sung in church and would sing with anyone that would let him. Larry is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Thompson, two daughters, Kim Cox (Jeff) and Nikki Thompson as well as five grandchildren, Hayden, Colton, Porter, Mary-Claire, and Baylor. He is preceded in death by his parents.
