Obituary for Layne Johnson
Layne Allen Johnson, 56, resident of Hernando, MS, passed from this life Saturday, October 22nd, 2022. He is survived by his loving and devoted parents, Larry and Linda Johnson, and sister Laura Johnson Trokimoinion with several precious nieces and nephews.
An avid sports enthusiast Layne was especially fond of all sports related to water like fishing, boating, swimming, and water skiing. Layne attended Sacred Heart Elementary School in Walls, MS and Hernando High School. He played little league ball, was involved in Club Scouts, and enjoyed sharing the activities of the Youth Program of Hernando United Methodist Church. Layne was a dearly loved child of Larry and Linda Johnson, and will be missed deeply and sincerely.
A favorite charity of the Johnson family is St. Jude Research Hospital for Children in Memphis.
The family will be receiving friends Friday, October 28th, from 9-10 am with services beginning at 10 am all at Hernando Funeral Home.
