Obituary for Lois Ann Bossert

Lois Ann Bossert, age 69, a Horn Lake, Mississippi resident, passed away on November 28, 2022.

Lois was born in Hampstead, New York, on April 25, 1953, at Mitchell Air Force Base to Mary (Longfellow) Davis of New Hampshire and Harold Davis of West Virginia. Being that her father, Harold Davis, was a Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, Lois and her sister Audrey spent their childhood living in places such as Tokyo, Japan, Anchorage, Alaska, and many other places all over the United States. As a result, she often referred to herself as an “Airforce Brat.” Lois graduated high school in Anchorage, Alaska.

Throughout her life, Lois was known and loved for her tremendous artistic and creative talent, sense of humor, and caring nature. Chances are, if you ever had a relationship with Lois, you usually walked away with something she had thoughtfully, lovingly handmade. Her creativity and artistic talent are on display for all to see in many of our family homes, churches, schools, and even in the White House. Lois greatly enjoyed making people happy. One of the many ways she brought people happiness was through her art. Lois possessed many extraordinary talents, but her art was impossible to overlook. Her craftsmanship was remarkable, whether it was a handmade keychain or a custom-painted egg.

Lois provided a magical experience for her grandchildren during holidays. Her home always looked like something out of a magazine. She came up with great holiday ideas, like games and making each other homemade gifts instead of purchasing them. She lived for the holidays with her family.

Lois loved to spend time with her family and her grandchildren. She loved to walk on the beach. She loved to love us all.

Lois is survived by her loving husband William E. Bossert, son Brian Rohrbacher(Ida), daughter Jill Pinkerton(Timothy), son Michael Rohrbacher(Elisha), stepdaughter Noelle Bossert, stepdaughter Valerie Minderman (Ethan), her sister Audrey Wise, her mother Mary Davis, her grandchildren Christopher Rohrbacher(Lynette), Jacob Rohrbacher, Benjamin Rohrbacher, Max Rohrbacher, Rebecca Rohrbacher, Addison Pinkerton, Quinton Pinkerton, MargaretMary Rohrbacher, and Eli Minderman.

Visitation at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Hernando Monday, December 5th, from 1pm to 2pm.
Funeral service starts at 2 pm.
