Obituary for Lyndon Wayne Manuel Jr.
Lyndon (Lyn) Wayne Manuel Jr. passed away on Tuesday, April 04, 2023, after a brief battle with two aggressive forms of liver cancer. He was 51 years young. Lyn died peacefully with his beloved wife Trina, their child Courtney, and his sister-in-law Pam by his side.
Lyn was born on November 07, 1971, in Memphis, Tennessee. He dropped out of school in 11th grade but was currently working on getting his GED which he was very proud of.
Lyn was a construction worker that worked hard to provide for this family. Lyn loved his family, that meant more than anything in the world to him. Lyn did everything in the world for his girls they where the perfect angels to him, daughter Courtney Manuel, daughter Krista Wheeler, and granddaughter Alayna (Gracie-May) Christman and would do anything in the world for his family and friends, down to providing you the shirt off his back.
Lyn’ loved his family first and foremost but he also loved to fish, camp, play drums, listen to Hank, laugh, cut jokes, cook out with this family, and have family gatherings. He loved so many people and was well loved by all. He will be missed greatly but will always be remembered for the loving, giving, and kind person he was.
Lyn is survived by his wife Petrina (Trina) Wheeler, Daughter Courtney Manuel, Daughter Krista Wheeler, Granddaughter Alayna Christman, Sister-In-Law Donna Holloway (Bobby), Sister-In-Law Pamela McPhail, Sister-In-Law Devona Thomas (Rick), sister Laura Hunter, as well as his brothers Gary Manuel and Mark Manuel and Aunts Karen McCain, Janice Manuel. Lyn also had several nieces and nephews Hope Barton, Summer Lux, Bailey McPhail, Riley McPhail, Kristina Rigdon, Ragan Watson, Colton Hunter, and Skyler Hunter, Cousins Bridgett Manuel, Jimmy Gross, Paula Schneider, Michelle Manuel, Tracey McCain along with several more cousins. He was predeceased in death by his mother Shirley McCalman, father Wayne Manuel Sr., Mother-in-law Shirley Wheeler, Father-in-law Roy Wheeler, brothers, DeWayne Hunter and Donnie Manuel.
