Mildred Hill Johnson, age 89, a resident of Hernando, MS,
passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

Millie was a graduate of Memphis Tech High School - class of
51. As a member of the United Methodist Church, she
attended services virtually in her final years. When she was
able to attend in person, she loved belting out hymns from the
back pew. Mildred retired from First Security Bank, but she also
served as a church bookkeeper and legal secretary. She enjoyed
cooking for her family, puzzle books, murder mysteries, and
watching Wheel of Fortune.

Millie is survived by her children Jennifer Hill of Hernando and
Don (Jamie) Johnson of Sardis; grandchildren Brandon (Haley)
Johnson of Caledonia, Jene (Shane) Smith of St. Peters, MO,
Lauren (Kyle) Moncrief of Strayhorn, and Jodie (Paul) Blaylock
of Hernando, 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.


She was preceded in death by her parents George and Florence
Hill, her husband Grover (Johnny) Johnson, her son Jeff Johnson,
and her great-granddaughter Nicole Smith.

Graveside services will be held at Hernando Memorial Park Cemetery Friday, March 17th, 2023 at 2 pm.
