Obituary for Nancy Jakubek
Nancy C. Jakubek passed away peacefully in her home in Coldwater, MS surrounded by family on April 1st, 2022 at the age of 75. Mrs. Jakubek was born to Rufus Smith Jr. and Eleanor Moss on September 15th, 1946.
Before retiring, she spent over three decades at Graybar Electric. Nancy started in the warehouse sweeping and running a forklift, then went on to be the first female in multiple high ranking roles also landing as the National Operation Manager.
She was known by all for her intelligence, fierce wit, and love for life. She is leaving behind the love of her life Tim Jakubek, her daughter Lynnette Knight, and son Kenny Graham. As well as three step-children, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two Australian Shepherds.
The family will be receiving friends from 1-2 pm Friday, April 8th, with services starting at 2 pm all at Hernando Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Love Cemetery. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy consider making a donation to Alzheimer's Association alz.org
