Nilda Marie South was born May 22, 1933 and passed away July 22, 2022. She is survived by two sons, John South, and Timothy South and one daughter Eve South all of Southaven, MS., Two grandchildren Holly Pennington (Kenny) and Stacey Merritt (Taylor); and two great- grandchildren Cameron Watson and Robert Pennington. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Mattie Dickey; husband Sidney South; brothers Talmadge and Doke Dickey; sisters Fallene Malone (Percy), Birdie Morris (Bob), and Uvee Morgan (Doug). Nilda was a loving mother and will be sadly missed. Hernando Funeral Home is in charge of her services. The family will be receiving family and friends Monday July 25, 2022, from 5-7 with funeral on Tuesday, July 26,2022 at 10:00 with burial at Magnolia Cemetery in Coldwater, MS.
