She was a wonderful mother that wholeheartedly loved her family and showed it by the many hours spent cooking and cleaning because she cherished caring for them. She was a compassionate and caring person that helped many friends of her children and grandchildren through the years. She was also known affectionately as Big Mama, Peg, Mamaw, and Dulah. Dance and music have always been a big passion, and she was enamored by Elvis Presley’s gospel music. Peggie was Baptist and enjoyed attending church when she was able. Another thing Peggie loved was spending time drinking coffee with Nancy Franks or Margie Nunn.
Visitation will be on March 12th beginning at 11 a.m. Immediately following, at 12:30 p.m., there will be a brief celebration of life ceremony at the Hernando Funeral Home. Family and friends are encouraged to share any memories or stories.
The family of Peggie Loyd wishes to extend our sincere thanks for the loving care provided by Holly Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare facility and Heart of Hospice.
