Robert Earl White, 73, of Byhalia, MS was born April 16th, 1949 and passed away peacefully at his home February 25th, 2023. Robert was a truck driver for many, many years; hauling containers around Memphis, TN. He loved old tractors, fishing, doing anything outside, and spending time with his family. He served in the army from 1970-1976 and was stationed in Korea. He is survived by his children Cindy Wilder (Bryan Hughes) of Byhalia, MS, Clinton White of Starkville, MS, and Candace Meeks (Greg Meeks) of Byhalia, MS; grandchildren Phillip Wilder of Byhalia, MS, Haley White (James) of Byhalia, MS, Spencer Wilder (Ashley) of Byhalia, MS, and Ty Sanders of Byhalia, MS; siblings Flossie Self of Memphis, TN, Peggy Eldred (Joe) of Southaven, MS, Joyce Moorehead of Southaven, MS, Kenneth White of Olive Branch, MS, and Larry White (Janet) of Southaven, MS; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. White is preceded in death by his brothers William White, Tommy White, Jimmy White, and Elbert White; sisters Oma Horton and Elise Wiggs; parents Bud and Lillian White; and the mother of his children Maria White. The family wants to send a special thanks to his nurses: Stacy Pruitt and Trinia. We ask anyone who would like to stay for fellowship please bring a dish. The family will be receiving friends Monday, March 6th, from 1-2 pm with services beginning at 2 pm at Meadow Brook Baptist Church in Byhalia, MS.
