With saddened hearts we announce the death of Stephen Bradley ‘Brad’ Cannon. He was born on April 27th, 1989 in Memphis, TN and passed away on March 20th, 2022 in Memphis, TN at the age of 32. Brad graduated from Desoto Central High School in 2007 in Southaven, MS. He attended East Mississippi Community College on a Baseball Scholarship and also attended Northwest Mississippi Community College. He was enlisted and served in the United States Navy from 2009 to 2013. Brad was predeceased by his Grandfathers Hugh Cannon and Frank Wilder. He leaves behind his parents, Gary and Diane Wilder Cannon of Rotonda West, FL, his former wife, Alicia ‘Ali’ Hendrix Cannon and his two young children, Paxton and Presley Cannon of Southaven, MS. He also leaves behind his sister, Melissa Cannon Smith, brother-in-law BJ Smith and two nieces, Caitlyn and Alayna Smith. In addition, Brad is survived by his maternal Grandmother, Margaret Cavallo Wilder, Uncles Stephen Wilder (his Godfather), Thomas Caldwell and Michael Medeiros, Aunts Mary Ann Caldwell (his Godmother) and Donna Medeiros, and many cousins and other relatives.
Family and friends are invited to attend the services. Visitation will be held Tuesday March 29th, 2022 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Hernando, MS from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Memorial Service at 11:00 am.
A reception will be held following the service in the Parish Hall.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Memphis, TN following the reception.
Funeral arrangements will be under the direction of Hernando Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made in Brad’s honor to VA Medical Centers, Alcoholics Anonymous, or any SLHs (Sober Living Houses) of your choice and will be greatly appreciated.
