Obituary for Tina Womack
Tina Dawn Womack, age 47, of Hernando, passed away in her home on January 17, 2023
Tina Dawn held a Bachelor's degree in music education from Delta State University, a Master's degree in leadership from Trevecca University, plus 30 post graduate hours from Cumberland University. She was a master level ORFF teacher for Memphis- Shelby County Schools, and a level 5 teacher for Memphis-Shelby County. In addition to her professional career, Tina Dawn was a King Arthur test kitchen baker, a Memphis in May BQQ judge, a former member of the Memphis Opera, a former member and executive board member of the Memphis Symphony Chorus and a 2021 kickball champion coach. She was a wonderful wife. A mother to three children. A cat lover of five cats.
Tina Dawn is survived by her husband of 27 years, Stephen Womack; her children, Katherine Womack, Bryant-Luke Womack and Katy Gunter; her sisters, Amy Agner (Tommy Agner), Megan Wilson, Miranda Kill, Brooke Reese, and Erica Gifford; her parents, Joe and Gloria Gifford; her Grandmother, Elizabeth Parks; She was called Bootsie by her grandchild, Malachi Roberts, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her niece Kara Grayce Smith.
Visitation will take place at Parkway Baptist Church on January 24, 2023 from 1pm until the services at 2pm. Burial will follow at Hernando Memorial Cemetery.
