Warren J. “Herb” Herbert, 94 of Olive Branch passed away at his home February 11, 2021. He was a retired shop foreman for Delta Material Handling. Herb was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran, serving aboard a ship during and battle and sweeping the waters for mines outside Tokyo after the war had ended. He was preceded in death exactly one month prior by the love of his life, Lucy M. Herbert. Herb is survived by his daughter, Debra Klopper of Kansas City; sons, John J. Herbert of Olive Branch and Mark Herbert (Kathy) of Bartlett; sister, Olive Rutherford of Olive Branch; brother, Robert Herbert of Byhalia, grandchildren, Lisa Wallace, Bridgett Peters, Kimberly Smith, Jeremy Herbert, Erika Herbert and Emily Herbert, eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Allen Edward Herbert and Dorothy Winfred Herbert; sister, Joyce Kirkman; daughter in law, Linda Herbert; son in law, Leon Klopper and sister in law, Johnnie Bea Henson. Service will be 2 pm, Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Hernando Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1 pm. Graveside service will be 1 pm, Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Forest Hill South Cemetery in Memphis.
