Wilma Sue Whatley, age 68, beloved wife, mother & Nonna went to be with our Lord on December 23, 2022. She was born in Tyronza, AR to parents George & Betty Lucas on December 7, 1954. She married her best friend & soulmate, Billy Whatley, on July 1, 1988.

Sue was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister & aunt. Her unbounded love & genuine care for people transformed the lives of everyone she encountered. Sue was a shining light in this world and saw beauty all around her.

Sue is survived by her husband of 34 years, Billy Whatley. She leaves four children; Lucas Whatley (Jackie) of Coldwater, MS, Amy Hall (James) of Lake Cormorant, MS, Wayne Whatley (Tiffany) of Southaven, MS and Marie Bryant (Greg) of Bluff City, TN, one brother; Dwaine Lucas (Judy) of Tyronza, AR, two sisters; Angie Lucas of Tyronza, AR and Nadine Booth of Magnolia, AR. She will be deeply missed by her 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Sue was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Judy Rogers.
